We provide reinsurance solutions to insurance companies worldwide. We specialize in Life & Annuity and Property & Casualty (P&C) lines, helping clients with capital optimization and risk management across these segments. We support these solutions with our investment strategies and expertise in complex risks. AIG founded us in 2017 as a Bermuda-based reinsurer to manage its legacy insurance portfolio. We started with approximately $3 billion in capital. In 2018, we began reinsuring AIG’s Life & Annuity and P&C transactions, covering about $37 billion of reserves and $40 billion of invested assets. Carlyle acquired a 19.9% stake in 2018-2019, and by 2020, we became an independent company, supported by investors like The Carlyle Group and T&D Insurance Group. In 2021, we acquired a variable annuity business from Prudential. The following year, we raised $2.1 billion from existing investors and closed a $1 billion fixed annuity reinsurance deal with a Fortune 500 U.S. insurance company. In 2023, we expanded internationally, opening a Tokyo office and completing two reinsurance transactions in Japan. Later that year, we closed a $28 billion Life & Annuity Reinsurance Agreement with Lincoln Financial Group. As of September 30, 2025, we manage $82.5 billion in Net Invested Assets, with 97% in Investment Grade (Rated Fixed Income), and hold $76.2 billion in GAAP Net Reserves.
