Job description

WHY DEPT®?

We are pioneers at heart. What this means, is that we are always leaning forward, thinking of what we can create tomorrow that does not exist today. We were born digital and we are a new model of agency, with a deep skillset in tech and marketing. That’s why we hire curious, self-driven, talented people who never stop innovating.

Our culture is big enough to cope and small enough to care. Meaning, that with people across 20+ countries, we’re big enough to provide you with the best tools, global opportunities, and benefits that help you thrive. While acting small by investing in you, your growth, your team, and giving you the autonomy to solve our clients’ problems, no matter where you are in the world.

We are looking for a candidate who has at least 5+ years of hands-on experience running & managing CRO projects. This is a senior-level position, ideal for someone who has a well-rounded CRO background and is comfortable with both client work, creating test plans, and being the strategic lead on CRO engagements. This is also a client-facing position, so a successful candidate will be able to translate CRO results into something a non-digital marketer can understand.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with the Client Services and CRO teams on test research, hypotheses, strategies, and test plans

  • Provide feedback and guidance to CRO projects and engagements

  • Support on quantitative and qualitative research, including (but not limited to):

    • Visual Analytics
    • Data Analytics
    • Competitive Research
    • Creation of new research deliverables to support client needs
  • Communicating with clients to understand and document the business objectives

  • Managing a team of other CRO experts and providing client services support on all CRO engagements

  • Project managing the testing & production queue which includes both CRO managers and developers

  • Oversee CRO Managers who are running CRO engagements to ensure they are properly supported

  • Creating, furthering, and establishing agency methodology around CRO research and test strategies.

You’ll need to have:

  • Passion for the field of conversion optimization

  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and oral

    • Powerpoint/GSlide experience creating well designed, organized, and strategic presentation
  • 5+ years of CRO-specific experience, either at an agency or in an in-house role

  • Academic and practical experience with a wide array of research methodologies

  • Reporting experience

  • Creating, analyzing, and reporting on data points

  • Detail oriented & organized

  • Willingness and ability to learn

  • Ability and strong desire to problem-solve

  • Positive attitude and is a self-starter

  • Ability to handle changing priorities

  • Time management skills

  • Efficient working style

  • Experience with testing tools (e.g. Optimizely, Google Optimize, VWO, AB Tasty) - MUST have Adobe Target

  • Experience managing post launch QA, results monitoring, statistical analysis of test results, assistance with test plans and test strategy, maintaining CRO roadmap documentation, providing reporting to account managers across accounts they are assigned.

Additional things that will impress us:

  • Experience running a agency-level CRO program
  • Team management experience
  • Tableau/Data Visualization experience
