About the Role:

The Associate Product Designer supports the Product team by contributing to UI/UX design efforts across Dynatron’s data-forward tools for automotive service departments.  In this role, you’ll work under the guidance of our lead designer, owning small-to-medium scoped projects end-to-end, and supporting larger design initiatives. You’ll participate in user research, usability testing, and accessibility reviews, and help translate insights into clear, practical solutions.This role will support our design efforts across multiple initiatives, collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success to deliver practical, well-crafted solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

You’ll contribute to projects from problem discovery and user research  through delivery and iteration, helping simplify complex workflows, visualize performance metrics, improve accessibility, and improve the usability of our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate brings strong visual design instincts, attention to detail, and a curiosity for solving complex user workflows.

Bonus consideration available for candidates with experience in Ai solutions.

Qualified Candidates Need:

  • 2–4 years of experience in a Product Design or UX/UI role, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • A portfolio that shows a strong foundation in UX thinking, interaction design, and visual polish, including user flows, wireframes, and final UI work.
  • Participate in user research, usability testing, and synthesis, and help translate findings into actionable design solutions.
  • Experience or interest in accessibility, including designing and reviewing for WCAG/ADA compliance.
  • Experience designing for data-dense interfaces, dashboards, or reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, design systems, tokens, components, and collaborative tools like Miro.
  • Ability to work independently on smaller projects, with guidance and support from senior team members; contribute to larger projects as a team member.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, and Client Facing roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain design rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • BA/BS in Design, HCI, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and usability.
  • Ability to take direction, iterate quickly, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to AI design tools or workflows is a plus and qualifies for bonus consideration.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to understand problems and define user needs.
  • Contribute to the design of features across our platform, from discovery through delivery.
  • Participate in user research and feedback sessions to iterate on designs.
  • Help simplify complex B2B workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces.
  • Work with Sr Designers and Product Managers to validate solutions through research, interviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Maintain and expand our Figma-based design system, ensuring consistency and reusability.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes to support user testing and engineering alignment.
  • Incorporate both qualitative feedback and usage data to inform design decisions
  • Assist in gathering requirements and providing input during feature discovery and planning.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, Work closely with developers and QA to ensure design intent is accurately implemented, and participate in release planning to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Contribute to usability testing, data analysis, and design QA efforts.
  • Act as a thoughtful design voice in cross-functional product discussions.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, trends, and tools—especially those related to AI and automation in design.
