Location: Georgia Remote - Savannah area preferred

Hybrid Remote: Flexibility to work offsite part of the time

Compensation: Expected at 200K+; open to negotiation based on your book of business

JWL International is recognized for its transactional law expertise, particularly in the equipment industry. However, our focus isn’t limited to one specialty. If you bring new clients and relationships, we are ready to discuss creative compensation packages that reward what you bring to the firm.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced attorneys who have at least five years of practice under their belt. A background in the heavy equipment industry is helpful, but not essential. More important is the ability to build strong client relationships, expertly draft and negotiate contracts, and deliver sound legal counsel. Whether you specialize in transactional matters or another area, if you have a solid (or growing) client base, JWL International wants to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle transactional work such as acquisitions, dispositions, and financing
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts in various sectors
  • Advise on compliance, risk management, and ever-evolving regulations
  • Collaborate with clients to align legal solutions with their business objectives
  • Stay current on industry developments affecting transactional and other practice areas

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active Georgia Bar membership
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transactional law, or corporate law (flexible if you have a portable book of business)
  • Strong track record in contract drafting and negotiation
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and client-service skills
