We are currently seeking an experienced, skilled, and passionate Azure Enterprise Architect to support enterprise-wide Microsoft implementation and maintenance projects for large U.S. Federal government agencies. Ideal candidates possess the technology skills, curiosity, and experience to drive Microsoft solutions through all parts of their lifecycle.
Role and Responsibilities:
·Hands-on develop and implement enterprise-level architecture solutions using Azure cloud services. Ensure that the architecture aligns with business objectives and meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
·Define and execute a comprehensive clod strategy that leverages Azure services to enhance business operations and drive digital transformation.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
·Establish and enforce cloud governance policies and best practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
·Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the protection of cloud-based systems and data.
oConduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.
oManage identity and access management (IAM) within Azure, ensuring that appropriate access controls are in place and regularly reviewed.
oImplement and manage encryption, key management, and other security technologies to protect sensitive data.
oMonitor and respond to security incidents, working closely with the security operations team to mitigate risks and prevent future incidents.
·Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Implement best practices for cost management and resource optimization.
·Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
·Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Required Skills
*TS Clearance with Poly required**
·Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Azure cloud services.
·Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL Database.
·Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
·Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
·Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
·Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
·Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
·Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
·Strong written and communication skills
·Azure Solutions Architect certifications are required.
Preferred Skills
·Additional certifications in cloud security, DevOps, or related areas.
·Experience in security engineering with Microsoft solutions.
·Understanding of networking concepts and how they relate to cloud services and Microsoft 365 connectivity.
·Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing models and subscription management.
