Emplifi’s unified customer engagement platform empowers over 20,000 leading brands to elevate their digital and social customer experience. By integrating social media marketing, commerce, care, unified analytics, and AI, we help companies grow through happier customers, better product sales, and stronger brand loyalty.
We process 100,000–200,000 I/O operations per second — and growing. To support this scale, we’re looking for a Backend Engineer to help evolve our platform.
You’ll join a collaborative, friendly team focused on building a reliable, scalable, observable, and maintainable system. We value creativity, discipline, and a good sense of humor.
What You’ll Do Here
- Maintain and extend our platform with new features.
- Monitor system performance and logs, address issues, and build tools for observability.
- Write clean, well-tested code.
- Review code to uphold our quality standards.
- Actively contribute to our Scrum process.
- Continuously grow your skills to advance your career and move the platform forward.
- Optional: Contribute to frontend tasks if you’re interested.
- Collaborate with a team of supportive professionals.
- Have fun, explore, and experiment.
What You’ll Bring To Us
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js.
- Solid understanding of clean code and testing principles.
- Familiarity with database systems.
- Experience using Git and modern development workflows.
- Bonus: experience with distributed systems or high-throughput environments.
