The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Insights and Analytics, the Manager, Data Operations will be responsible for managing and optimizing sales, customer, and market data to enhance commercial operations. This role will ensure data accuracy, integration, reporting, and governance, supporting teams across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Business Intelligence. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data management, analytics, and commercial operations within the biotechnology or oncology space.

Responsibilities:

•    Oversee the collection, cleaning, integration, and governance of commercial and sales data from multiple sources (CRM, market research, claims data, distribution data, etc.).

•    Act as the primary internal data steward as it relates to Master Data Management, and coordinate effective support processes to ensure data integrity and quality

•    Manage data flows between Salesforce/Veeva, ERP systems, third-party data providers, and business intelligence platforms, to include field force triggers and alerts and digital assets in Veeva CRM

•    Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

•    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key commercial metrics, including sales performance, customer engagement, and market trends.

•    Support forecasting, targeting, segmentation, and business analytics efforts with accurate and timely data.

•    Work with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth.

•    Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve data workflows and reporting efficiency.

•    Collaborate with IT to enhance data infrastructure, storage, and security.

•    Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies to improve commercial data capabilities.

•    Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, Marketing Operations, Market Access, and Market Research teams to align data operations with commercial objectives.

•    Work closely with external data vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless data access and usage.

•    Support commercial launch efforts with accurate, real-time data insights.

Competencies Include:

•    Commercial & Business Acumen – Understanding of oncology biotech commercialization and how data drives sales, marketing, and market access strategies.

•    Cross-Functional Collaboration – Ability to work with Sales Operations, Market Access, Finance, IT, and Commercial Leadership to align data strategies with business needs.

•    Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies, optimize workflows, and recommend actionable solutions.

•    Project Management & Prioritization – Experience leading multiple data initiatives, managing deadlines, and adapting to evolving business needs.

•    Communication & Stakeholder Management – Ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

•    3+ years of experience in data operations, commercial analytics, or sales operations in biotech, pharma, or oncology.

•    Strong experience managing CRM systems (Veeva, Salesforce), data warehouses, and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.).

•    Expertise in data governance, integration, and validation to ensure high-quality datasets.

•    Familiarity with third-party oncology data sources (IQVIA, Symphony Health, Komodo, Diagnostic/Lab data sources, specialty pharmacy data, etc.).

•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

•    Ability to communicate complex data concepts to commercial and executive teams.

•    Experience building systems, processes, and support structures within fast-paced, start-up environments preferred.

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
