We are an AI biotech company, founded in 2016, that uses Biological Artificial Superintelligence (BASI) to understand biology and engineer new solutions. Our goal is to accelerate breakthroughs in therapies, diagnostics, and rejuvenation.

Our core technology is Owkin K, an AI platform trained on patient-level multimodal data. This platform learns from biological feedback to identify causal relationships and generate new insights. We collaborate with academic research institutions to gather and use patient data and biological samples.

We have raised $304 million from biopharma companies such as Sanofi and BMS, and venture funds including F-Prime, Google Ventures, and Bpifrance Large Ventures. We have agreements with Sanofi for AI drug discovery, BMS for AI drug development, and MSD for AI diagnostics. We also partner with 83 academic institutions in Canada, USA, France, Germany, and Spain.

Our offerings include:

• Owkin Core (Owkin K): This is our foundational software, integrating high-quality multimodal data and AI tools for our partners.
• Epkin: This team is developing OKN4395, a selective triple inhibitor of EP2, EP4, and DP1, currently in Phase 1 (INVOKE). We use AI from initial asset selection through clinical development.
• Owkin Dx: We provide clinically validated digital pathology AI diagnostics, helping pathologists with biomarker screening and predicting patient outcomes for clinical trials and routine use (IVD solutions).
• Bioptimus: An independent entity we incubated, Bioptimus is building a universal AI foundation model for biology.

Our work spans artificial intelligence, omics technology, oncology, drug discovery, medical research, biomedical images, real-world data, clinical data, federated learning, digital pathology, and data science. Our technology stack includes Python, LLMs, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure, primarily on AWS.

Our mission is to unlock complex biology to find the right treatment for every patient and transform drug discovery and development. We aim to build tools and intelligence that change how medicine is discovered, developed, and delivered.

We offer flexible working options, including office, hybrid, and remote work. Our employees can work from anywhere in the world for up to four weeks per year.
