As a Business Development Lead you will be be responsible for building vital business relationships and revenue streams for one of the leading exchanges in institutional crypto trading. You will join our global Business Development team and work with leading institutions, emerging FinTech’s and start-ups forming the cutting edge of finance.

What you’ll do
- Responsible for the development and implementation of growth strategies focused primarily on traditional and crypto hedge funds, asset managers, family offices and related ‘buy-side’ entities in Europe, Middle East, Africa.
- Accelerate growth in the region and achieve new client acquisition, volume and revenue targets.
- Strategically sell Bitstamp products and features through a deep knowledge of the industry, platform, client business models, and the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
- Source new clients, manage key accounts, and assist in onboarding new corporate clients.
- Establish strong relationships with institutional customers and support their performance as the main point of contact.
- Act as a client advocate in navigating Bitstamp departments and functions during negotiation and onboarding.
- Work closely with the Business Development team members to support all prospective and existing client opportunities.
- Ensure CRM data and reports are up to date and maintained.
- Regularly assess client potential and prioritize based on Bitstamp’s estimated future revenues.
- Attend industry events and continually build your network.
On day one you’ll bring
- Mandatory prior experience in sales or business development roles.
- Mandatory experience in financial industry / fintech, crypto and Blockchain technology, experience working globally.
- Characteristics: Responsible, goal oriented, self-initiative, good communication skills, non-conflict, independent, team player.
- Knowledge of another foreign language is an asset.
