About Salsify’s Core Group

Our Core Product group at Salsify exists to thoughtfully invest time and resources into improving the Salsify platform, while decreasing Support and product maintenance load by finding inefficiencies in infrastructure, process, or code and addressing them. The Core group is the only team at Salsify with a singular mission dedicated to making technical investments that will allow us to reliably scale with our customers as our addressable market grows, and we are energized by a commitment to using our deep expertise to make things better – for the people using or maintaining Salsify.

About the Role

As a Business Process Analyst (BPA) in our Core group, you will work closely with one of our Core teams, primarily to ensure the team meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for reactive, inbound issues. The Core Group is charged with ensuring the reliability of our foundational systems, which requires that the BPA develops a strong working knowledge of areas of the platform relevant to their team. Beyond that, as the BPA develops that knowledge, they should productively share that knowledge with the broader team – providing guidance when internal resources have technical questions, driving updates to documentation to reduce inbound requests relating to lack of understanding, etc. A successful BPA will be committed to defined SLAs and success metrics, and – with support – use that context to inform prioritization of objectives, how to approach escalations or blockers, and communication with cross-functional partners. The BPA will build an effective working relationship with the Product Manager (PM) and Engineering team that they work with, adapting to the team’s norms and ways of working while noting possible process inefficiencies and advocating for adjustment alongside the PM.

You’ll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • 2+ years technical project management, business analyst or similar experience preferably with building and growing SaaS applications.
  • Proven track record to build strong cross-functional relationships with colleagues and partners and build influence within an organization that is brimming with strong opinions and deep expertise.
  • Detail orientation and comfort with tackling and troubleshooting technical challenges, and navigating complex data formats and reporting.
  • A strong collaborator in strategic decision-making, skillfully navigating evolving business needs and structures with flexibility and perseverance, and leveraging all experiences for future success.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to be a strong advocate for needs that you have identified
  • Organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in response to time-sensitive requests.
  • Verbal and written English language proficiency is required

A Successful BPA:

  • Assists the Product Manager in performing discovery on specific business problems. Clarifies the problem they’re solving, and proposes solutions informed by business needs and constraints.
  • Recommends process improvements with Support and PM, manages the execution and optimization of processes while fully leveraging the available toolset.
  • Supervises the health/good shape of the owned processes throughout their lifecycle.
  • Builds-out tracking mechanisms and reporting to provide leaders with insight into the performance of the team and their processes. Monitors this data to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrates ability to meet appropriate deadlines with an understanding of the needs of their team and the business, more broadly.
  • Communicates proactively and clearly with their team, manager, and stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and learns from mistakes.
  • Proactively points out lack of alignment and seeks opportunities to partner with their manager or PM to resolve.
  • Makes informed prioritization and time management decisions.
  • Builds strong technical and domain knowledge in the areas their team supports.
  • Proactively and scalably shares knowledge with cross-functional teams.

The posted compensation range reflects the base salary for this position. In addition to base salary, some eligible roles may also have a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Salsify employees receive equity in the form of stock options. All full-time employees are invited to participate in our Total Rewards plan, which includes health & medical benefits, PTO, and more. Offers to join Salsify are based on a few criteria, including the scope of the role, the candidate’s work experience, targeted skills, internal equity of the team, and external market data.

National Pay Range

€28.900—€34.000 EUR
