The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role is responsible for analyzing complex business problems, identifying improvement opportunities, designing systems solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement them. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, is well-versed in both business operations and enterprise applications, and can act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with business leaders and Enterprise Applications Team to understand business processes, requirements, and goals.
- Analyze current business systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
- Collaborate with IT, development teams, and third-party vendors to design, test, and implement solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for business systems and processes.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and system demonstrations.
- Lead or support project management activities including planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Maintain Enterprise Applications knowledge base on Sharepoint.
- Provide ongoing support and training to users post-implementation.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to suggest innovative solutions.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
- 3–5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, with a strong background in enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.).
- Experience with NetSuite ERP or Salesforce CRM (Preferably Both).
- Experience with process mapping tools such as Miro, Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Proven ability to understand and improve end to end business processes e.g. Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Solid understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nozomi Networks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base pay scale for this position is $105,618 to $132,5480. This is the range the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account factors including job-related knowledge, skillset, experience, education and training, certifications, and other relevant business factors. Additional Compensation and Benefits: The company also offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability insurance for eligible employees. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in the company’s equity program and/or variable bonus program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
In addition, eligible employees are able to enroll in a 401(k) plan along with the employer matching program. Nozomi Networks also offers eligible employees flexible paid time off, paid holidays and paid parental leave.
