The Compliance Analyst ensures the company’s products, processes, and systems align with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions in the online gambling and sportsbook industry. This role involves regulatory research, supporting product certification and market expansion efforts, creating and maintaining documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance considerations are integrated effectively. The Compliance Analyst also provides guidance to teams across the company, helping them navigate regulatory requirements in their daily work.
What You’ll Do:
Regulatory Research and Analysis
- Monitor & Interpret: Track changes in state laws and gaming regulations affecting the company’s management, operations, technology, and product offerings.
- Structured Feedback: Support the review of new or proposed regulations and requirements and contribute structured feedback for internal discussions.
- Actionable Requirements and Communication: Break down complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable steps for internal teams.
Product Compliance & Documentation
- Product Submissions: Assist in regulatory submissions by supporting documentation, communication, and coordination efforts.
- Knowledge Base Management: Maintain organized records of regulatory requirements and compliance documents.
- Compliance Reporting: Assist in creating and filing periodic reports required by regulatory bodies.
- Internal Controls: Support teams in developing, refining, and maintaining internal controls.
Cross-Functional Support
- Collaboration & Guidance: Work with product, engineering, legal, and operations teams to help them understand compliance requirements.
- External Collaboration: Work with external partners, including testing labs and technology vendors, to ensure smooth certification processes by providing compliance guidance, tracking requirements, and assisting in resolving regulatory concerns.
- Incident Support: Review compliance-related incident reports to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and provide guidance on compliance expectations when needed
- Audit Assistance: Participate in internal and external audits by preparing materials and supporting responses.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 1–3 years in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, auditing, legal operations, or a related field.
- Analytical & Research Abilities: Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with product, engineering, legal, and operations teams.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to track and manage multiple regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Experience in maintaining regulatory documentation, compliance reporting, or internal control documentation.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with regulatory compliance in software-driven environments, including technical product requirements, system controls, testing standards, or certification processes. #LI-REMOTE
This role spans a wide breadth of experience at Rush Street Interactive, welcoming candidates with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and locations. The pay range reflects potential variations in experience, skills, and location. The pay range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base pay, benefits, and/or bonuses. For candidates outside the US (Canada, Europe, Latin America), we take a locally informed approach to compensation and will share specific ranges based on your country of residence.
Location Eligibility: Open to candidates across the US (except California, Washington, Maryland, and New York).

Pay Range
$60,000—$70,000 USD
