What you’ll do:

  • Design for carity & conversation

    • Write and structure product content—including microcopy, in-product messages, onboarding flows, error messages, and system notifications—that helps users complete tasks confidently.
    • Design conversational flows for chat-based, voice-enabled, and agent-driven experiences, ensuring responses feel natural, trustworthy, and on-brand. Including, but not limited to, prompt creation that results in human-centric feedback and governance of content agents.
    • Combined human-first and strategic AI thinking to optimize content for automation, personalization, and proactive system actions.
  • Collaborate & iterate

    • Partner with product designers, engineers, and researchers to define the content experience for features and capabilities, especially those involving AI decision-making or automation.
    • Contribute to product discovery and usability testing by crafting and testing content variations for clarity and conversion.
    • Give and receive constructive feedback in product prioritization and design critiques, helping improve overall problem clarity and product experience quality.
  • Evolve our content systems

    • Work with Brand Marketing and Product Marketing to use and evolve our voice, tone, and style guidelines, adapting them for AI-generated content.
    • Document reusable conversational patterns, system prompts, and feedback loops for scalability and consistency.
    • Collaborate on improving existing content components and adding new ones to the design system, with a focus on AI and agent-driven experiences.
  • Focus on AI/automation impact

    • Identify opportunities where AI and automation can reduce user effort, prevent errors, or anticipate needs—and help design the content to make those interactions seamless.
    • Work with engineering to ensure AI-driven and automation-first responses meet usability, accessibility, transparency, as well as ethicaland brand standards.
    • Help shape the user experience for emerging agentic workflows, where the system can take proactive, multi-step actions on behalf of the user.

About you:

  • 3–5+ years in content design, UX writing, or content strategy, ideally with experience in SaaS or complex digital products.
  • A portfolio showcasing user-centered content work, including conversational or AI-driven experiences.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility best practices, and content design methodologies.
  • Experience working closely with product designers, engineers, and researchers to shape the user experience.
  • Strong writing skills—clear, concise, and adaptable to different tones and contexts.
  • Familiarity with conversational UI design, large language models, and AI-assisted content creation.
  • Comfortable balancing quick, tactical deliverables with contributions to long-term content systems.

Bonus points:

  • Experience in fintech, legaltech, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of prompt design, AI response tuning, or automation workflows.
  • Background in service design or multi-modal experiences (e.g., voice, chat, in-app assistants).
