About the Company

The Company is a private investment firm dedicated to identifying and acquiring a single private company with a niche sector in North America. Its approach relies heavily on personalized cold emails and custom outreach to founders and business owners.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly motivated, research-savvy, and detail-obsessed individual to help us write personalized cold emails for outreach to founders and business leaders. You don’t need prior finance or analyst experience—but you do need top-tier writing skills, a knack for online research, and the ability to learn fast. Your work will directly support our business development and sourcing strategy by ensuring our outreach is highly customized, human, and insightful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write customized, human-sounding cold emails to CEOs/founders based on deep research
  • Review company websites and write concise 1–3 word industry descriptors (e.g., “SIEM cybersecurity,” “D2C skincare”).
  • Create 1–3 personalized bullet points per company that reflect their unique value, tone, or operations.
  • Conduct research on companies, founders, and sectors using search engines, databases, and AI tools.
  • Generate expert lists and outreach strategies for industry research.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine research processes and improve efficiency.
  • Own onboarding tasks in Week 1, including tool access, calendar audit, and systems clean-up (if applicable).

Must-Haves

  • Exceptional English writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to write personalized, high-quality emails at scale (20–100/day).
  • Strong research skills and comfort with deep online digging.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-starter mentality with a “figure-it-out” mindset.
  • Strong time management and independence.
  • Able to distill complex information into short, clear, punchy language.

💡 Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience writing cold emails or outreach copy.
  • Understanding of B2B marketing or startup ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with email automation and sequencing tools.
  • Interest in finance, private equity, entrepreneurship, or growth marketing.
  • Experience using AI tools to speed up research (while maintaining human-sounding output).
