About Great Minds
We are a public benefit corporation, founded in 2007, that operates in the education industry. We employ 1001-5000 individuals and develop curriculum based on Common Core State Standards and liberal arts principles, along with educational advocacy.
We create and provide K-12 instructional materials for math, literacy, and science. Our products include Eureka Math, Eureka Math² (PK–Algebra I math curricula), Wit & Wisdom (K–8 ELA curriculum), Arts & Letters (K–8 ELA curriculum blending books and fine art), Geodes (decodable K–3 books for phonics and content knowledge), and PhD Science.
Beyond our curriculum materials, we partner with school districts to improve student learning. We also offer professional development and services for educators. These services provide practical strategies, content knowledge, and layered support through workshops, coaching, and on-demand learning tools, customized for different experience levels. We also conduct and share research on our materials and their impact on students.
Operationally, we manage large-scale content development and distribution projects. This involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion. This includes our end-to-end print strategy and execution for instructional materials, as well as managing vendor relationships, production, and delivery.
Mission & Values
We believe every child is capable of greatness and that education should be rich in knowledge and accessible to all. Our mission is to help teachers unlock every student’s potential. We do this through research-based, high-quality math, literacy, and science curriculum materials proven to improve outcomes for all learners.
We measure our success by the impact teachers have and the growth students achieve. Our materials are designed by educators and grounded in research. They build deep conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and lasting curiosity. They provide joyful rigor, spark curiosity, and build knowledge. We set high expectations while offering thoughtful scaffolds for all learners.
Team & Culture
We employ 1001-5000 people. Our company was founded by teachers, for teachers, bringing together educators and scholars. We are a purpose-driven team, dedicated to delivering knowledge-rich instruction to classrooms.
Our work environment is remote and highly collaborative. We emphasize a culture of trust, curiosity, and quality. Teams often use an agile workflow and prioritize cross-functional alignment. We focus on empowering teachers and setting high expectations for both our employees and students.
