Job description

MicroHealth is seeking a Data Analyst/Programmer II to support our Software Development Services team. This position will provide software engineering and development expertise, along with developer and architect capabilities to perform system development life cycle (SDLC) tasks in the development and support of applications and systems. The successful candidate will serve as a developer in the data analysis group supporting multiple Microsoft technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in software development. An additional 8 years of technical experience may be substituted for the education requirement

  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies

  • Proficiency in multiple Microsoft technologies and platforms

  • Strong programming skills in relevant languages (SQL, Python, R, C#, or similar)

  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques

  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques

  • Experience with database design and management

  • Understanding of agile/scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure Data Engineer, Power BI, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, etc.)

Salary: $110,000-$115,000

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee may lift or move objects up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
