Responsibilities
Lead the governance initiatives within technology, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Establish and maintain metrics to measure compliance, risk management, and performance effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of governance practices with business objectives.
Supervise and guide a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Participate in the design and implementation of governance frameworks and policies for technology.
Evaluate new technologies and practices, providing recommendations based on governance principles.
Act as a liaison between various teams to facilitate effective communication regarding governance issues.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
Proven experience in a governance-related role within the technology sector;
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to technology;
Experience with risk management and performance metrics development;
Ability to lead and mentor technical teams;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Proficient in developing and implementing IT policies and standards.
