Data Management Coordinator
Job purpose
The Data Management Coordinator is a critical role with DeepHealth’s Quality, Regulatory and Compliance department, responsible for comprehensive data governance, management, and regulatory compliance. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, accuracy, and regulatory adherence across the organizations complex digital health ecosystem.
Duties and responsibilities
As the Data Management Coordinator, this position will support the following key areas:
Data Governance and Management:
Develop and implement robust data management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Design and maintain comprehensive data collection, storage, and retrieval protocols
Create and maintain data management standards operating procedures (SOPs)
Establish and enforce data quality standards and validation processes
Manage data lifecycle from creation to archival or deletion
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, HIPAA, GDPR, FDA Clinical standards, UK/EU Clinical standards, and other relevant standards.
Prepare and maintain detailed Data Management plans and reports. Conduct regular internal audits to support the same.
Support Regulatory submissions and inspections, as required.
Technical Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize database systems and data management tools.
Support data migration projects and system validations
Develop and maintain data mapping plans and tracking mechanisms.
Implement data security and privacy protocols.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, Clinical, and Quality, as well as external stakeholders.
Provide training and guidance on data management best practices.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, information management, biomedical informatics, or related field (required).
● Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, MBA, or MD) preferred.
● 4-6 years of progressive experience in data management with medical technology, healthcare, or regulated industries.
● Proven track record of managing complex data systems
● Strong knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant regulatory standards.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Working conditions
This position is based in the United States, in a typical office setting.
A flexible work environment is possible, and may have the ability to work remotely, depending upon location.
Physical requirements
This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (~10% of time), drive a vehicle, and utilize other forms of transportation.
