Job Description
We are looking for a and accomplished Database Administrator to join our team. You will report to Experian Health and have expertise in minimizing dependencies to prepare the databases for AWS migration, supporting discovery and data cleanup efforts, offering assistance and guidance for optimizing data usage, and collaborating with multiple partners. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and comprehensive data integration and analysis to support our organizational goals.
You’ll have opportunity to:
- Improve queries, reduce the number of database calls, and minimize dependencies to prepare the databases for AWS migration
- Help the teams with discovery and data cleanup efforts
- Offer assistance and guidance for optimizing data usage
- Work and collaborate with multiple partners
- Perform regular backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient database operations
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices
- Analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years’ experience in SQL and NoSQL databases required
- 7+ years’ experience with database optimization, query tuning, and performance monitoring
- 7+ years’ experience in database security and backup/recovery procedures and in a Database Administrator or similar role
- 3+ years’ experience within healthcare revenue cycle required
- 3+ years’ of experience with data integration tools or platforms
- 3+ years’ experience with data warehousing concepts and practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
