Defence Market Intelligence & Data Analyst (Aerospace & Defence) Purpose

Build a defence-grade targeting engine:

1. EU/UA: Battery supply (Molicel) to UAV/defence manufacturers and integrators.

Your outputs feed our LinkedIn/email outreach and website content.

What you’ll deliver (first 60–90 days)

• A refreshable European/Ukrainian UAV/defence landscape: primes, tier-12 integrators, UAV OEMs, payload/avionics/power-system suppliers, specialist distributors.

• Decision-maker maps per account (Procurement, Programme, Supply Chain, Power/Engineering) with LinkedIn + verified work emails.

• A live tender/programme radar (EU/NATO) with dates, links, status, and basic scoring (urgency, fit, country).

• Weekly Top-25 target list with rationale, ready for outreach.

Core responsibilities

• Research using subscription & public sources:

- Janes (companies, programmes, platform lineages).

- EU / NATO procurement: TED (Tenders Electronic Daily), NSPA, OCCAR, EDA notices.

- Trade/media & exhibitor lists: Aviation Week / FlightGlobal, Eurosatory, DSEI, MSPO, ILA Berlin, etc.

- Company filings / registries (e.g., Companies House, Handelsregister, KRS) and official press/investor decks.

• Relationship mapping: identify prime→integrator→supplier chains for UAV platforms; note battery/power integration partners where visible.

• Contact discovery: use Sales Navigator + Apollo/Lusha/ZoomInfo to find/verify decision-makers; keep proof/source links.

• Data hygiene & reporting: maintain a single source of truth (Sheets/HubSpot), build a compact Power BI / Looker Studio dashboard (Top-25, contact depth, funnel, tender radar), and produce a 1-page weekly brief.

• Compliance hygiene: basic sanctions/end-use checks (EU/UK/AU lists) and clean notes for internal review.

Required experience

• Proficient with Sales Navigator + one of Apollo/Lusha/ZoomInfo for contact verification.

• Strong spreadsheet discipline; Power BI/Looker Studio for concise dashboards.

• Clear, concise writing; can summarise a programme/tender in 5–8 bullet points.

KPIs

• Coverage: priority accounts identified and tagged by segment/country.

• Contact depth: ≥2 verified decision-makers per priority account.

• Tender radar live with weekly updates; deadlines surfaced on time.

• Weekly Top-25 list delivered; reply/meeting rates improve week-on-week from better targeting.

Initial paid trial (5–10 hours)

• Scope: Ukraine UAV/defence landscape.

• Deliverables: 20 companies (segmented), 15 verified decision-makers (roles above), 6 current programmes/tenders with links & dates, Top-15 target list with rationale; compact dashboard + data dictionary.
