We work closely in diverse, global teams, leaning on each other’s strengths. We don’t expect any one person to do all these things perfectly. Our Delivery Leaders should be able to confidently:

  • Build trust-based relationships and partnerships with a diverse range of clients across government, philanthropic organisations, nonprofit and advocacy to achieve shared goals

  • Lead problem solving by breaking down problems to identify root causes, extracting insights from data and developing hypotheses and actionable solutions for clients

  • Provide challenging and practical feedback to colleagues and clients to help them grow

  • Work independently and as part of a team to support the clients, with guidance and direction from Project Leaders, and supporting Associates to structure their work as part of a team effort

  • Produce high quality products including presentations, reports and client engagement sessions that are clear, compelling, focused and well-structured, and help turn ideas into action

  • Lead project management for fast-moving and agile projects to bring clear structure, planning and sequencing to day to day work for the team

  • Support clients to implement plans and monitor progress with a mindset and approach to work that embodies pace, optimism and urgency

  • Stay focused and navigate complexity, especially in policy and program implementation, consistently steering large coalitions back to a single-minded focus on priority outcomes.

Mindsets

  • Adaptable: Public sector work is dynamic. Our people are, too.

  • Analytical: We identify, dissect, and solve complex problems, following the data and evidence.

  • Accountable: We are a remote team. We work collaboratively but self-sufficiently; oversight is often minimal, while proactivity is essential.

  • Curious: We never stop learning from our clients, colleagues, and partners. Humility is one of our core values and we bring it to all the work we do.

Experience

Many of our people have backgrounds in management consulting, public sector implementation, government, philanthropy, think tanks / policy research, and international development. Some come from startups and tech. Our Delivery Leaders generally have spent at least 3-4 years in another organisation and often have experience with our major verticals: economic development, sustainability, education, public health, agriculture. But we’ve done this long enough to know that what matters most is your skill set and your mindset. We are open to lots of backgrounds as long as you can show us you’re an analytical thinker, a clear communicator, a team player, and an avid learner.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Must be based in and have right to work in Australia or Philippines

  • Remote working environment, with willingness to travel up to 25-50%

  • A positive and solutions-oriented outlook on the potential for governments to deliver meaningful results for people

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Experience with project management, particularly on multi-stakeholder projects

  • Demonstrated experience and strong skills in using data to drive decision making and track impact, as well as building capacity in others to use data

  • Over 3 years experience in using evidence and analysis to help governments or programs make sound decisions

  • Over 3 years experience working directly in a public sector or public sector-adjacent position gaining insights into different delivery approaches

What We Offer:

  • Exposure to senior leaders in government, NGOs and other social impact organisations

  • Opportunity to be part of a growing team working on transformative projects around the world

  • Opportunity to work with and learn from experienced Project Leaders and Associate Directors with a diversity of backgrounds and experiences

  • Competitive compensation and benefits

  • Passion: It is all about impact.

  • Excellence: Delivering to the highest standards.

  • Humility: Pride without ego.
