Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ABAP reports utilizing ALV (ABAP List Viewer) for displaying complex data in a user-friendly manner.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.

  • Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and understand project scope.

  • Implement best practices for ABAP programming, including performance tuning and optimization.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and accuracy of reports.

  • Provide support and enhancements for existing ALV reports based on user feedback and changing business needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in ABAP development, specifically with ALV reporting.

  • Strong proficiency in ABAP programming concepts and techniques, including modularization.

  • Experience in performance optimization of reports and underlying data models.

  • Excellent understanding of SAP data structures and business processes.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
