Job Description
As part of the Business Intelligence team, you will work on Big Data projects that process large volumes of data, either in batch or real time.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with development teams on their infrastructure needs and deployment tasks
- Sustain the existent core infrastructure and help in integrating new technologies, while ensuring system stability
- Collaborating with fellow engineers on setting up the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Work with data scientists and other data teams, providing access to data and setting up different workflows
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Linux OS
- Knowledge of RDBMS (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Basic experience with scripting (Bash, Python)
- Highly curious, self-driven, and detail-oriented
- Fluent in English
- Fast learner with a growth mindset;
- Self-motivated and resourceful, able to work both independently and collaboratively while managing priorities effectively
Big Pluses:
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud providers
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker)
- Experience with container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc
