RethinkCare is the first and only human- and web-based program to provide effective & affordable clinical best practice tools to support multiple populations within the neurodiversity community: employees caring for children/teens with learning and behavioral needs, neurodivergent employees, and the managers and organizations that support them. Developed by internationally recognized clinicians and leaders, Rethink empowers employees to pursue individualized skill-building and support both online and through 1:1 consultations, thus, reducing stress, creating a nurturing environment, and increasing productivity at work.

Job Description/Key Responsibilities

The Director of Family and Clinical Services primary responsibility is to conduct 1:1 teleconsultation services (over phone or video chat) across two distinct teams:

  1. A parent training program, consisting of parents and caregivers raising children with various learning and behavioral needs

  2. A neurodiversity at work program, consisting of both neurodivergent professionals and/or their managers

The Director will put emphasis on the ongoing nature of consultation and strive to ensure regular follow-ups with the client are achieved. They will log notes, recommendations, referrals, and respond to client messages within 1 business day.

This role includes providing guidance and education around:

  • Behavior analytic tips and strategies to implement in the home/community (e.g., potty training, social skills, advocacy skills, activities of daily living, etc.)

  • The school system/IEP process/transition to adulthood programming

  • Navigating diagnoses, disclosure, self-advocacy, and building executive functioning skills in the workplace

  • Referrals to other company-sponsored benefits when appropriate (EAP, health plan, etc.)

They will report to the Senior Director of Clinical Services and acts as the ultimate advocate for parents.

Required Education, Licenses, and Certification

  • Master’s Degree or above
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities utilizing ABA principles (add’l experience with learning disabilities, counseling, and/or supporting adults in the workplace is a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years conducting parent training utilizing ABA principles
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent professionals (e.g., ADHD and Level 1 autism) in the workplace
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage frequent back-to-back calls and pivot seamlessly among them
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision and take initiative
  • Ability to make independent decisions and communicate accordingly
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of vital project/client information
  • Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team to connect, remotely, with colleagues of all professional backgrounds
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bilingual capabilities, and ability to work international time zones, strongly preferred
  • Neurodivergent BCBAs strongly encouraged to apply
