Job Description
Define and drive a complex initiative technical vision, strategy, and architecture; plan and oversee the execution of large-scale technical programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget; develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies; establish and track program metrics and KPIs; analyze program performance data to drive continuous improvement and ensure that programs deliver the expected value; identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues; develop and implement mitigation strategies to address potential obstacles and ensure successful program delivery; provide high-level technical guidance and oversight; ensure that technical solutions meet architectural standards, best practices, and quality requirements; address and resolve complex technical challenges and risks; continuously evaluate and enhance technical program management processes, tools, and methodologies; implement best practices to improve program efficiency and effectiveness; collaborate with IT, Product, Business, and other key departments to ensure seamless integration and execution of program initiatives; facilitate cross-functional team alignment and communication; build, mentor, and lead high-performing program management teams including both direct report and cross-functional relationships to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to achieve program goals; engage with executive leadership and key stakeholders to communicate program status, risks, and milestones; and manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that program deliverables align with business needs. Position is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, but employee will be permitted to work from home at various unanticipated worksite locations throughout the United States.
Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus five (5) years’ post-baccalaureate experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Senior Engineer, or related role. Experience must include providing broadband services in Fixed and Mobile Satellite Broadband domains; end-to-end integration of EMS and NMS networks; provisioning with network management systems; and leveraging Java, SOAP, REST, Informatica Cloud, JBoss, EAP, and Weblogic.
