Peachy, a dynamic e-commerce development agency, is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Elixir Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work on a cutting-edge project revolutionizing the luxury menswear industry with innovative technology. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting scalable backend solutions that deliver a seamless, tailored user experience.
You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, including a full-time Frontend Engineer, UI/UX Designer, Project Manager, and QA Engineer, all committed to achieving exceptional results.

➖What’s we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of professional experience working with Elixir.
- Strong understanding of functional programming principles and experience in designing distributed systems.
- Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote team and adhering to a New York City work schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
- Upper Intermediate or higher level of English (both spoken and written).

➖Responsibilities:
- Build, optimize, and maintain robust Elixir applications.
- Develop scalable, high-performance backend systems to support the client’s custom menswear platform.
- Collaborate with the frontend engineer to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend components.
- Work closely with the project manager and client to understand requirements, provide updates, and deliver exceptional results.
- Participate in system architecture planning, technical discussions, and code reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Debug and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain platform performance and reliability.
