Our internal IT landscape has grown organically—great tools, but no single blueprint. As our first Enterprise IT Architect, you’ll turn that sprawl into a coherent roadmap: mapping today’s reality, designing tomorrow’s stack, and guiding every build/buy decision as we roll out to business platforms (HR, Finance, Sales etc).You will be responsible for creating a scalable and secure architecture that supports our business objectives and empowers our teams to innovate.
What You’ll Do
- Define Architectural Vision: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, including business-capability maps and application portfolios. You will establish design principles, a lightweight governance model, and an Enterprise IT Architecture Review Board to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Assess and Rationalize Current Systems: Partner with business owners to inventory and evaluate our existing application landscape, including enterprise apps like Workday. Your goal will be to identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, and security enhancements, with a focus on immediate wins and long-term refactors.
- Shape Integration and Data Patterns: Collaborate with our Data Platform and DevOps teams to create a robust integration strategy. You will publish and maintain architectural blueprints, data-flow maps, and governance rules to ensure all new systems are designed consistently.
- Embed Security and IAM Principles: Define and implement zero-trust network principles, RBAC models, and data classifications. You will manage and improve core security tools (MFA, SSO, EDR) and provide necessary architectural documentation for audits like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Facilitate collaboration across technical teams (Security, Data Platform, DevOps) to ensure architectural consistency. You will track key health metrics like technical debt and deployment frequency while mentoring IT specialists and helping to build a community of practice around enterprise architecture.
Who we’re looking for
- Broad understanding of enterprise systems, HR Workday, CRM, Finance, and integration strategy
- Experience across core‑IT domains: networks, integration, device management, identity & access management, collaboration solutions, and cloud services.
- Broad technology knowledge spanning Oracle, Google, cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and web services.
- Fact‑based decision maker who takes accountability.
- Committed to architecture excellence and high service satisfaction.
- Relevant architecture knowledge and certifications (TOGAF, IASA, or similar).
- Skilled in Business Technology Strategy and stakeholder alignment.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Prior experience in a similar IT‑industry role is preferable.
- Suitable academic degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid capacity from our office 3 days a week
