Overview:
Pacvue is seeking a summer hire to support the events team in creating systems to support our fast growth and diverse event line up in three global markets. This position will provide hands-on experience in event strategy, programs, and improvements specific to internal communication. The summer hire will work closely with the Global Events Director on projects related to Pacvue’s events.
Project Scope:
- Assist in organizing events with the team
- Help maintain and improve internal documentation, SOPs, and content libraries for easier access
- Analyze survey data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support event planning
Deliverables/Milestones:
- Present a 5–10-minute deck to the corporate marketing team that outlines ideas of event activations designed to increase lead capture
- Create event timelines: Develop backwards timelines for event planning and execution.
- Research tech solutions to improve efficiencies and increase impact of events
Learning Objectives:
- Understand event objectives, target audience, budgeting, timelines, and event logistics.
- Understand event marketing: Learn about event promotion strategies, including social media and email marketing.
- Learn about vendor management: Gain experience in selecting, managing, and coordinating with vendors.
- Improve communication skills: Practice effective communication with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Develop teamwork skills: Learn to collaborate effectively with others on event planning and execution.
- Enhance problem-solving skills: Learn to identify and resolve issues that arise during event planning and execution.
Location/Time Zone Preference:
Remote from anywhere in the United States.
This is an hourly contract role intended for college students as a summer internship. The role is remote, begins on May 19th or June 23rd and pays $20 per hour, 35 hours per week for approximately 2 months.
