Job description
About Tilt🛸
We’re reinventing shopping for the 21st century—bringing joy, connection, and a splash of chaos back to e-commerce. Tilt is the UK’s biggest live shopping platform, and we’re just getting started. We raised an $18M Series A and are building a world-class team across ops, product, and finance.
Now we’re looking for a sharp, organised, and ambitious Finance Analyst to join our small but mighty finance team and help us scale our processes, visibility, and impact.
Your Mission 🧾
You’ll be the connective tissue across the finance function—owning the core processes that keep our financials sharp and scalable. From month-end to management accounts, investor reporting to tax ops, you’ll help build the engine that supports Tilt’s growth.
You’ll work closely with our Finance Lead and collaborate across Ops, Studios, and Marketing. This is a rare opportunity to get deep exposure to a fast-scaling business and develop as a full-stack finance operator.
What You’ll Do 👷
0–3 Months
Reconcile revenue, cost of sales, inventory, expenses, and balance sheet accounts
Prepare journal entries, trial balances, and support preparation of financial statements
Assist with month-end close: accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
Help maintain department-level budgets and spending visibility across the business
Prepare documentation for VAT, payroll, R&D tax claims, and other filings
Track and record accounts payable/receivable
Contribute to equity operations: cap table review, option grants, EMI admin
3+ Months
Assist with cash flow forecasting and long-term scenario planning
Own monthly budget-vs-actuals updates for key teams
Support investor reporting and compliance (e.g. Digital Platform Reporting, Companies House)
Use spreadsheets—and potentially SQL or Python—to streamline and automate finance workflows
Contribute to finance process improvements across reporting, controls, and tooling
What We’re Looking For ✅
1–3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or FP&A role (startup or practice background welcome)
Studying towards or recently started CIMA / ACCA / ACA
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field—with core modules in financial accounting
Strong understanding of journal posting, trial balances, and accounting principles
Familiarity with month-end reporting and/or preparing management accounts
Bonus: Exposure to equity topics (EMI schemes, options, cap tables)
Bonus: Some fluency or interest in SQL, Python, or other data tools
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal hand-holding
Excited to join a growing team and contribute to a finance function with high impact
Expected start date is August 15th or sooner
Perks & Benefits ➕
Including the advertised compensation range, we offer:
Truly flexible hours—work when you’re at your best
29 days PTO (plus UK Bank Holidays)
Tech & office budget to get your workspace just right
All the AI tools you need—we’ll cover subscriptions like Cursor
Remote work options—we’re flexible where it counts
Free Deliveroo for late working evenings
Canary Wharf office with free gym membership
Matched pension contributions
Work abroad for up to 14 consecutive days a year
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, and we’re committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse workplace.
If you don’t meet every single requirement in the job description, please don’t be put off from applying. We value potential and a willingness to learn over ticking every box — your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.
Let us know if you need any adjustments during the application process — we’re happy to help.
