What we’re looking for
Vacasa is looking for a Program Manager to join our franchise conversion Team. Part of Vacasa strategy includes actively acquiring companies within the same industry. As a result, we need to ensure the function of integration and change management is fully supported within the business. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, actively managing and preparing specific portfolios for ongoing operations outside of Vacasa’s standard systems and integration activities.
This position in 100% remote. Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY
What you’ll do
- Work with the Seller to identify operational and technical gaps between their business and Vacasa’s.
- Create and execute a plan for managing and/or closing gaps during the pre-integration process.
- Lead pre-franchise conversion planning and pre-franchise conversion efforts to ensure smooth integration within Vacasa operations. Ensure a smooth transition to the Integration team.
- Provide program and project management, leadership, and support to multiple acquisitions simultaneously
- Proactively manage the pre-franchise conversion activities across a range of functions and departments
- Provide regular pre-franchise conversion status reports
- Communicate project priorities, monitor and escalation of unresolved issues
- Manage Franchise Conversion department resource forecasting and allocation for upcoming integration projects weekly/monthly reporting on department and project level metrics
- Other duties, as assigned.
Skills you’ll need
- Demonstrated project management experience; minimum of 5 years
- Ability to use interpersonal skills to influence change, and facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment
- Demonstrated experience with managing people and a team.
- Experience negotiating commercial terms and/or vendor relationships
- Experience gathering requirements and documentation from clients/business
- Experience consulting and scoping large acquisitions or deals
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate and motivate people with varying personalities
- Vacation Rental industry experience
- Travel required as applicable
- A plus, would have a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Compensation:
- $80000 - $100000 / year. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate’s skill, experience, education and/or location.
