Role Overview
1GLOBAL is seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer with expertise in React and Next.js to join our team. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, ensuring a great user experience and high performance. You will collaborate with the design and backend teams to implement user-facing features and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop user-facing features using React and Next.js
Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and responsive web interfaces
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
Work closely with the backend team to integrate with RESTful APIs
Write efficient, clean, and reusable code
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Strong experience in frontend development using React and Next.js
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Typescript
Experience with css frameworks like tailwind
Experience with TypeScript
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library
Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
Experience with using and building RESTful APIs
Knowledge of modern frontend build tools and workflows
Understanding of version control systems, such as Git
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
