Role Summary
As a Full Stack Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for guiding a team of developers in the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable, high-performance web applications using React and Python/Django, deployed in AWS. You’ll contribute directly to architectural decisions, mentor team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure best practices in both frontend and backend development.
This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical skills, strong communication, and the ability to balance coding responsibilities with team guidance and delivery coordination.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of developers in the design and delivery of full stack applications
Contribute to and review system architecture and design decisions
Guide the implementation of frontend components using React
Oversee backend development in Python/Django, including API design and database integration
Collaborate with DevOps to manage cloud infrastructure in AWS
Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD best practices
Act as the main technical point of contact with stakeholders, including product and QA
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment with Agile practices
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
7+ years of experience in full stack development
Proven experience leading technical teams or acting as a tech lead
Expertise in React.js, Python, and Django
Strong understanding of system architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployments
Experience working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (written and spoken)
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Nice to Have:
Background in personalization, e-commerce, or optimization platforms
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience in performance monitoring and tuning of distributed systems
