Job Description
Overview
Do you know what it takes to launch top tier game titles? Are you eager to project manage a game’s development from concept to shipping?
If your answer is yes, don’t go any further. The opportunity is yours now at Gameloft Bucharest.
Your main challenges will include:
- Managing development throughout each phase of the production process: concept, mock-up, alpha, beta, gold and updates
- Be responsible for multiple teams and ensure follow-up on goals and deadlines to guarantee the delivery of various tasks
- Overseeing quality in different areas of development: game design, art, programming
- Manage tasks in relevant production tools to properly supervise their team members’ work (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Evaluate, analyze, and resolve issues related to project management
- Participate in game leadership meetings for planning, scheduling, and team management
- Conduct meetings and manage communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the development and improvement of work methods and procedures
- Maintain relations and cooperation with other teams including Marketing, User Acquisition, QA, Business Performance, Legal, and other diverse groups spread throughout the global Gameloft organization
- Assist in mentoring junior production team members
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Passion for games, knowledge of the game industry.
- Considerable professional experience in managing teams of creative people and managing creative projects for AA/AAA PC or Console games, including at least one shipped title.
- Have a combination of creativity and analytical talents, so you can discover the proper balance of creative and data-driven decisions
- Proactive, enthusiastic team player comfortable working within a fast-moving, multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to foster team excitement and synergy.
- A keen eye for detail and high standards of work.
- Independence and initiative, along with a proven track record of seeking out tasks, finding new ways to enhance productivity both personally and for the team.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Technical background is a plus with a good understanding of the capabilities of modern game engines (Unreal, Unity).
