Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Counsel to oversee the legal affairs of our international venture-building group and its subsidiaries worldwide. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance with global regulations, and support corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all legal matters across the group and its subsidiaries worldwide.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements for day-to-day business operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including with a strong focus on HIPAA, GDPR, OIG, and AKS regulations.
Oversee corporate governance matters and maintain best practices across the organization.
Provide legal risk assessments and strategic advice to executive leadership.
Collaborate with external counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.
Qualified lawyer with 7+ years of experience in a top-tier law firm or a large international corporation.
Fluent in English with excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
Expertise in HIPAA, GDPR, OIG (Office of Inspector General), and AKS (Anti-Kickback Statute) compliance - advantage.
Previous experience with FDA regulations is a strong advantage.
Experience working with startups, venture capital firms, or similar fast-paced environments.
Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
Comfortable working remotely with international teams.
