Millions of people use our platform to post stories, links, images, and videos. Users comment on posts and use an upvote/downvote system that influences content visibility.

Our engineering teams focus on areas like Software, Full-Stack, Frontend, Backend, Social Media, Data Science, Mobile Apps, and Online Advertising. We scale infrastructure, develop video capabilities, and build high-traffic feed experiences for web and mobile. Our AI Engineering team builds Reddit-native large language models, including creating data pipelines for pre-training models from text, images, and video. The Site Defense team within Infrastructure designs systems to protect the platform from DDoS attacks, automated abuse, and large-scale scraping. The Ads Targeting Quality team develops machine learning-driven targeting products for advertisers using deep learning architectures like GNNs, transformers, and LLMs.

Our International Community team works to expand our presence globally, with a specific focus on the Indian market. The Legal team advises on employment and general litigation matters, and helps navigate global tech platform regulation. Our Tax team manages strategic tax planning and execution.
