About the Role:

The Global Sales Operations Analyst role is responsible for creating, reviewing, and translating reports into actionable insights and providing recommendations to support overall sales activities across all international sales channels.

The Global Sales Operations Analyst will help derive key strategic insights from the myriad of data available to assist in the identification and development of business opportunities for OLAPLEX distributors and customers. Additional responsibilities will also include evaluating the effectiveness of on-shelf and promotional efforts and events both pre- and post-product launch and ensuring end-to-end accuracy on key deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in data analytics, pay close attention to detail, and possess a good understanding of the retail landscape. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a strong competency in Microsoft Office, most specifically Excel and Google Sheets and Docs. It is also important to be a strong self-starter, able to multitask and work efficiently in an extremely fast-paced environment while managing your time effectively. A passion for and experience in the Beauty Category is a definite plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general sales reporting and analysis that assists in monitoring sales and revenue performance from our distributors and customers
  • Develop and manage a field team analysis tool to ensure productivity targets are met
  • Provide data and analytical support for internal and external presentations
  • Creates ad-hoc measures and reports as required/requested to support the sales team and the Chief Revenue Officer
  • Help derive and translate strategic insights from different sources of data available and present to cross-functional teams at all levels
  • Assists in the identification and development of business opportunities through analysis and interpretation of consumer, customer, and market data
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of on-shelf and promotional efforts, both pre-and post-launch, and assists in ROI analysis
  • Aid account managers in item-level forecasting by understanding each retailer’s performance and seasonality
  • Becomes a data owner, ensuring end-to-end accuracy on key deliverables
  • Help to develop & analyze the team’s productivity and deliverables
  • Supports CRO with executive and board needs

About You:

  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office applications required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • 7+  years working in data analytics for a Retail/CPG company, preferably in beauty or CPG
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting or related field
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in an extremely fast-paced environment, and manage time effectively
  • Results-oriented and able to work with the cross-functional team to achieve sales goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Adaptable to a high-performance team culture

Our Total Rewards:

The annual base pay for this position is $95,000 - $105,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
