Seven Starling is looking for a Contract Group Therapy Lead to reimagine the virtual group therapy experience for expectant and new mothers. As a Group Therapy Lead, you will bring expertise and best practices on delivering a best-in-class group therapy telehealth experience for our patients. As part of your role, you will facilitate virtual group therapy sessions for our patients and collect learnings and feedback
You will also partner with Seven Starling’s clinical and leadership team to develop group facilitation guides and lead training for our broader therapist team.
Our ideal candidate is a behavioral health professional with interest in maternal mental health who is dedicated to providing a world class telemedicine group therapy experience. You’ll excel in this role if you are an excellent communicator with extensive experience in facilitating evidence-based group therapy experiences for patients. What we look for at Seven Starling
- Clinical expertise utilizing evidence-based models of care such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy
- Previous experience facilitating online/virtual group therapy and in serving prenatal and postpartum families is preferred.
- Familiar with best practices for structuring, creating, and leading groups that will drive patient participation, support, and healing.
- Empathetic and intuitive listener with strong verbal and written communication
- Comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms, electronic health records, and google suite, as well as an eagerness to learn new programs efficiently
- Excited to join an early stage team building the future of maternal mental healthcare
- An ability to laugh at yourself and with others; we take our work seriously, but want to have fun while doing it!
What you’ll do
- Lead primarily group therapy sessions (some individual as needed) in a telehealth setting for patients suffering from common maternal mental health related conditions
- Collaborate with the clinical and leadership team to share feedback and suggest ways to improve the care delivery system
- Develop group facilitation guides tailored to Seven Starling’s unique patient population
- Lead ongoing group facilitation trainings for our therapist team
- Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week.
- This is a flexible, fully remote opportunity.
Who you are
- Currently independently licensed as a counselor, clinical social worker, or marriage & family therapist in California.
$75 - $80 an hour
Rates:
Intake/Assessment: $75
55 min Individual Sessions: $70
Group Sessions: $80
