We’re seeking a new Head of Business Development who will oversee a team of 13 while also independently managing the entire sales cycle.
Compensation structure:
- Business Contract (B2B): from PLN 25,000 net + VAT + PLN 10,000 (Management Contract); or
- Employment Contract (UoP): from PLN 29,000 (gross).
- Annual bonus.
- Stock options plan.
Ready to apply? First, check if you have:
- Experience in a similar role in a 400+ people software services company.
- Experience in growing and managing a successful business development team of 10+ people.
- Hands-on experience in selling custom software development services in project-based and team augmentation models.
- A proven track record in new business as an individual contributor, leading full sales cycles.
- Experience in managing relationships with enterprise customers: executing account strategies, proactive pitching, building networks within accounts.
- A proven track record in Inbound & Outbound Sales.
- Experience in executing portfolio strategy and account growth plans to grow business YoY.
- A great command of English: at least C1+ CEFR; a good command of Polish would be preferred.
- An ability to achieve ambitious goals in an agile, innovative, and fast-paced environment.
- An ability to hold people accountable while staying empathetic and committed to helping your team members develop.
- Optimism, entrepreneurial mindset, and can-do attitude.

If you join us, you will:
- Be responsible for Netguru’s commercial success (revenue growth, margin achievement, pricing, and discounting strategy).
- Build and execute the business development strategy.
- Lead, develop, and grow the Business Development Team, with 2 direct reports and a total team of 13+.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to support long-term collaboration.
- Lead the full sales cycle: from prospecting, through winning to existing customers management and expansion.
- Generate new opportunities through outbound activities and effectively convert marketing-generated leads.
- Oversee Account Growth Plans creation & execution (for prospective and existing clients).
- Drive best practices leading to winning accounts.
- Understand and identify key industry trends and translate them into relevant business opportunities.
- Continuously improve existing processes and create new ones to improve your team’s performance.
