We are a diversified trading firm that finds and acts on trading and investment opportunities around the world. We trade various asset classes and instruments in global markets, with trades lasting anywhere from seconds to years. Our approach relies on technology, research, and risk management.

Don Wilson founded DRW in 1992. We were early adopters of advanced modeling, technology, and quantitative research in global financial markets. As a proprietary trading firm, we trade for our own account, which allows us to quickly seize opportunities. We are active on exchanges across five continents, providing significant liquidity across a wide range of products and asset classes.

We have expanded our operations to include specialized businesses:

• Cumberland DRW, established in 2014, focuses on institutional-sized liquidity for spot and futures crypto-asset products. We made our first bitcoin trade in 2010. Cumberland Labs, our blockchain incubator, launched in 2022.
• DRW Venture Capital, launched in 2011, invests in financial and enterprise technology companies.
• Convexity Properties, established in 2008, is our real estate investment arm, focusing on properties where we can add value.
• Our DRW NX team designs, builds, and operates advanced networks.
• Artemeter DRW, launched in 2024, brings together our expertise in global compliance and voluntary carbon markets. It offers services in structuring, origination, and advisory. We became the first carbon-neutral global trading firm in 2020.

We have offices in Chicago (HQ), Amsterdam, Austin, Dubai, Greenwich, Hong Kong, Houston, London, Montreal, New York, Palo Alto, Singapore, and Tel Aviv. We process about 1 million trades daily and have the capacity for 100,000 trades per second. Our company has over 700 technologists.
