The Role
As Head of Engineering, you’ll be part of our executive team and own the vision, strategy, and execution of our technical roadmap—including how we scale our platform and our team. You’ll help us 3x the engineering org in the next 12–18 months and build a product that blends consumer-grade quality with enterprise-grade reliability.
You’ll also lead our AI initiatives: building systems that use LLMs and agentic workflows to deliver smarter, more proactive financial guidance. You’ll set the technical bar, drive innovation, and shape a culture of high ownership and velocity.
Our current stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS. We’re looking for someone excited to scale with this foundation—and evolve it where needed to meet the needs of our users and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team (3x in the next 12–18 months)
- Own technical architecture and infrastructure as we scale to millions of users
- Oversee our AI roadmap—developing intelligent, personalized, and automated guidance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a product that’s user centric, intuitive, and deeply valuable
- Set a high standard for code quality, performance, and engineering excellence
- Foster a team culture built on ownership, speed, and thoughtful execution

$200,000 - $350,000 a year
The expected base salary range for this role is between $200,000 and $350,000 per year. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. The salary range reflects the base salary only.
