Position Overview:

Our Virtual Health Coaches deliver on Henry Meds’ mission to deliver exceptional care and promote sustainable wellness outcomes by:

  • Prioritizing person-centered care, using emotional intelligence and clear communication to help clients achieve lasting behavior change
  • Encouraging client engagement and satisfaction, which directly enhances retention and promotes long-term health outcomes.
  • Using approved coaching interventions, empathy, and collaborative goal-setting to promote adherence and provide practical tools for long-term success, all while respecting cultural preferences and individual barriers.
  • Contributing to operational excellence by providing feedback to refine tools and workflows and fostering a positive team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry a full daily caseload of patients, conducting 30-minute video sessions and/or email communications with each (caseloads may vary and will be adjusted in support of evolving business needs)
  • Having a working knowledge of all partnerships and coach clients in accordance with respective established protocols
  • Willing to support special projects if the need arises with a focus on prioritizing clients and caseload management over any additional project work
  • Attend all specific trainings and team meetings
  • Respond to action items communicated by supervisor in a timely manner
  • Establishing and maintaining strong rapport with each client
  • Keeping accurate coaching notes to capture relevant background, unique motivators, and significant life events/details for each client
  • Demonstrating robust and balanced use or a wide range of clinical coaching skills (motivational interviewing, stages of change, acceptance, scope, reframing, goal-setting, solutions-focus, accountability)
  • Tailoring coaching strategies to the client’s preferences and/or identified stage of change
  • Integrating a variety of program features into the coaching experience to encourage engagement
  • Proactively provide vetted resources and foundational health knowledge as appropriate
  • Consistently adopting and implementing new changes to assigned coaching protocols
  • Supporting and collaborating with teammates while also having the autonomy to work independently to manage a full caseload of coaching clients
  • Actively participating in relevant protocol/skill-enhancing trainings

You should have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and wellness coaching setting
  • Specialization: In-depth knowledge of medications that the company offers patients, particularly GLP-1s.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Certification: Such as NBHWC (National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching) or ICF (International Coaching Federation) - other relevant certifications will be considered

You may have:

  • Live 1:1 (video, in-person, or telephonic) and group coaching experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in Slack & GSuite
  • Weekend availability

Working Conditions & Equipment Use:

  • A quiet home office environment
  • Ability to work 8 hours a day on a computer
    • Daily computer use and proficiency required
    • Must have the ability to respond to multiple communication platforms in a timely manner

Salary Range: The Health Coach position offers $54,000-$58,000 annually based on experience.

This salary represents Henry Med’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Henry Meds may ultimately pay more or less than the posted salary. The final salary for this position will be determined by Henry Meds sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Henry Meds business and other operational considerations.
