Position is remote, 100% tele-health.
**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK Monday-Friday, 11AM-8PM Pacific Time and 1 Saturday a month
Position Overview:
The Coach Lead will be pivotal in managing and supporting a team of Behavioral Health Coaches. The Coach Lead will be responsible for evaluating performance, identifying goals and growth opportunities, managing workflows, and assisting in the onboarding and training of new hires. In this lead role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to Bend’s organizational values, mission, and objectives. Your alignment sets the tone for the team, fostering unity and shared purpose toward achieving Bend’s care and quality goals.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment, Onboarding, Engagement and Training:
- Involvement in recruiting, onboarding, and training new Coaches by identifying qualified candidates and participating in the interview process.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where all Coaches are engaged, valued, and supported.
- Reinforce processes that familiarize new Coaches with Bend core programs, company standards, and expectations.
- Support the Coaches understanding of Bend Core programs, evidence-based protocols, and coaching best practices; enhancing their ability to provide quality care.
- Offer continuous training, 1-on-1 meetings, async, and as a group, to close any training gaps or disseminate new information promptly and effectively.
Quality Assurance:
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating Coaches clinical performance to ensure they meet Bend’s standards of excellence and deliver high-quality care.
- Provide feedback and support when Coaches need additional clinical training.
- Support may include auditing records, reviewing case notes, providing guidance on cases, and offering recommendations for performance improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
- Gather feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance Coach care delivery.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in behavioral health coaching to ensure Bend remains at the forefront of industry best practices.
- Opportunity to be involved in the development of new care programs, resources, and clinical enhancements to best support the clinical team.
Caseload:
- Lead by example by carrying an active caseload of members and providing high-quality coaching services.
- Demonstrate best practices and quality in the care you deliver.
- Provide input and feedback regarding our current care programs and suggestions to enhance and improve our existing services and care delivery.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Coaching Certification, (ICF, NBC-HWC) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in pediatric behavioral health and/or coaching.
- Minimum of 1 year holding a leadership role, leading a team, or group training facilitation
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based coaching interventions and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
