  • Status: Full-Time Position

  • Weekly Hours: 40

  • Shift: Monday -Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm MST (some teams are on a Monday -Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm)

  • Location: Remote or In Office opportunities. For local Colorado residents, mandatory 1 day in-office orientation at the Denver/Aurora Office.

  • Training: 3 weeks (paid)

  • Pay Structure: Base annual pay ranging from $37,440 - $43,680 based on prior experience. This is not including the monthly performance bonuses ranging from $100-$400! On top of that, we hold company and individual team contests on a monthly, weekly, and quarterly basis in additional gift cards and prizes based on customer service and performance goals.

Job Summary

Would you like to help patients and their families to better understand their medical bills and provide them with options to resolve them? Are you looking for a career with a solid company with stable hours and great benefits, where the customer service you provide, and your contribution is valued? We are looking for caring and talented Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representatives to make a long-term home in our organization. In this important role, you will work as an extended business office representatives on behalf of our clients where you will work with patients and their families to explain their medical bills, answer any questions they may have, and resolve account balances with them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Using empathy and fantastic listening, verbal, and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand confusing, and often times unexpected, medical bills.

  • Provide outstanding customer service and collaborate with patients over the phone on affordable payment plans, and taking payments by phone.

  • Using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow ups in our software systems throughout each day.

  • Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and caring team focus.

  • Continuously improving, with supportive coaching / feedback from your manager and team leads and ongoing training.

Requirements

  • Must be a Colorado, Wyoming or Montana resident
  • Network speeds with a minimum of 50 mbps download and 15 upload (you can use www.speedtest.net to test this out)
  • Call center experience preferred (but not required)
  • Demonstrated history of retention
  • Experience in customer service and/or healthcare preferred (but not required)
  • Advanced beginner to Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus!
  • Typing 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy preferred
