The Human Resources Associate’s role is to assist in the support of business units to ensure effective delivery of HR services. The HR Associate works closely with and under the direct supervision of the Senior Business Partner, Human Resources in coordination with Program Managers. This role also supports a number of other departments in Corporate Services and will occasionally support International Programs, as needed.
Requirements
A Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or related field required; Master’s Degree is a plus.
At least 5 years of progressive HR experience. Previously experience working with an NGO preferred. Experience working with donor funded projects preferred
Understanding of federal and state employment laws, understanding of HR best practices. Prior experience working in US non-profit projects a plus.
Working knowledge of French preferred.
Proficient in MS Office.
Able to prioritize tasks, and takes initiative
