Industry GTM has become a critical lever in creating that connection to the business, delivering data intelligence for customers, and winning the category that Databricks is creating.

As a Global Industry Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead for AI & Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our Industry GTM strategy and unlocking this potential for Databricks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to accelerate growth across priority verticals, solution areas such as Marketing and Cyber, and key global markets.  You will shape overarching GTM strategies, create compelling executive content, and propel adoption of new innovations, including Generative AI.

We seek a passionate, self-starter who can anticipate needs, collaborate across teams, and drive forward with solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, and analytical capabilities to drive insights and recommendations on future approaches to the Industry GTM.

The impact you will have:

Strategic GTM Leadership

  • Develop and refine Industry GTM strategies, sales plays & programs, and executive content by synthesizing cross-functional stakeholder input, Customer / Executive insights and market trends.

Executive Content & Engagement

  • Craft compelling, executive-level content that demonstrates Databricks differentiated capability to drive meaningful business outcomes for CxOs and LoB/Functional Leaders

Data-Driven Insights & Analytics

  • Surface GTM insights and recommendations for Industry Leaders, Sales Leaders, and Executive Leadership through data-driven analysis
  • Institute a consistent framework for measurement and accountability for Industry GTM and its success in the Field and with Customers

Innovation & Market Expansion

  • Expand Industry GTM into existing and emerging product areas such as Generative AI and Agent Systems

Global Alignment & Standardization

  • Harmonize GTM strategies across subverticals, horizontal solutions, and regional teams to ensure cohesive execution at scale
  • Champion new operating models and field enablement to embed Industry-first mindset more deeply into sales and field engineering

What we look for:

  • Work Experience

    • 10+ years in enterprise software or management consulting with a proven ability to develop and execute high-impact GTM strategies.
    • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and market penetration through innovative go-to-market approaches.
  • Executive Communication Skills

    • Exceptional ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations, positioning complex technical solutions in a clear, business-aligned manner.
    • Adept at influencing Executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to take decisive action.
  • Analytical Problem Solver

    • Advanced analytical mindset for market research, competitive analysis, and performance measurement.
    • Exceptional program management skills to coordinate complex, enterprise-wide GTM initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Relationship Building & Influence

    • Proven ability to influence without formal authority, forging strong relationships across functions, partners, and clients.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of establishing credibility with technical, sales, and executive stakeholders alike.
  • Technical Acumen in Data & AI

    • Strong background in Data & AI technologies, with ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic business outcomes
    • Proficiency in SQL or Python for data analysis and ad hoc insights is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
