Mitratech is seeking a Product Manager to join our UK based GRC Product Management team. In this role, you will fully manage a product and collaborate with other PMs to ensure a cohesive product experience.
You will work with customers, cross-functional teams and other PMs to define priorities and roadmaps, building enhancements to existing functionality and also developing new capabilities. You should enjoy spending time in the market, understanding the latest opportunities in the risk and compliance landscape and translating ideas into future product deliverables. Your background and experience in Information Governance and/or Financial Services will enable you to bring credibility and pace to this role.
You will serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering and work with sales, marketing, services and support to help them understand the product positioning, key benefits and the value proposition.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Management of 2 Information Governance products within the overall GRC portfolio.
- Creation and management of the product roadmap.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery to commercialization.
- Validate new ideas, assessing suitability for inclusion in roadmap on quarterly basis.
- Capture requirements, manage the product intake process and work with engineering and design team to define and prioritize the backlog.
- Work with Product Marketing to develop deep understanding of market trends, competitor landscape and upcoming regulatory changes.
- Regular collaboration with customers and prospects to understand current pain points out in the field, partnering with design team on user research activities.
- Sales enablement β work with Product Marketing to communicate the value proposition and support in the creation of materials for commercial and support teams.
- GTM β work with Product Marketing to define and execute go to market strategy for current and existing product development.
- Track product metrics to measure success from a financial & user engagement perspective.
Requirements & Skills:
- At least 3 years B2B SaaS product management experience.
- GRC / Financial Services sector experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to present confidently and effectively to diverse audiences across the business.
- Active use of AI in product management to optimise product activities in discovery and delivery.
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on user-centered discovery and production definition experience.
- Influencing skills and experience β ability to convince others to support an idea or direction.
- Experience in customer insights, strong ability to unearth underlying user needs and behaviours.
- Ability to create business cases for choosing products, features and markets to prioritise.
- Good understanding of how to use quantitative and qualitative research to drive product and marketing strategy.
- Capable of making trade-off decisions between possible and desirable, requires a good sense of technical feasibility and desired commercial outcome.
- Familiar with common development and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint and ProductBoard.
- Experience with platform product management, prioritization and organizational alignment of multiple teams working together.
