Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to deliver high-quality services to internal stakeholders and customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong Linux and development skills. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require the ability to define solutions, improve services, and automate services and operational tasks. What to expect:
- Automate system delivery in a high-velocity environment
- Improve existing systems to improve reliability and delivery time
- Work with the latest GPU hardware from AMD and NVIDIA
- Define automation gaps to improve internal and customer-facing services
- Work on virtualization improvements on both GPU and CPU hardware
- Engage with multiple teams to achieve a common goal in delivering services to our customers
- Transfer knowledge on how systems and automation work to enable our sales, support, and SA teams
Our new team member will need:
- High attention to detail
- Vocal about improving and driving change
- Strong knowledge of Linux and KVM virtualization
- Ability to develop code in Python and PHP
- Experience working with PXE, networking, and bare metal systems
Compensation
$90,000 - $110,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
