Job Title: Inventory Management Intern
Location: Remote
Reports To: Inventory Management Lead/ Supply Chain Manager
Work Shift: Monday to Friday flexi with overlap
Job Summary:
The Inventory Management Intern will assist in the execution of inventory operations, supporting accurate stock monitoring, data updates, and reporting. This internship is ideal for a detail-oriented Industrial Engineering graduate or student with strong analytical skills and mastery of Excel or Google Sheets. The role offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations, demand planning, and e-commerce inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Inventory Lead in tracking purchase orders and updating production and delivery statuses
Maintain and update inventory trackers and stock databases with high accuracy
Analyze historical data and assist in preparing reports on stock levels, sales trends, and inventory health
Collaborate with suppliers or logistics teams to gather updates and input relevant information into internal tools
Help maintain product listings and stock counts in e-commerce platforms like Shopify (training provided if needed)
Identify and flag stock discrepancies or delays to the Inventory Lead
Participate in inventory-related process improvements and documentation
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, conditional formatting, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Eagerness to learn about inventory management in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Shopify, inventory software, or ERP systems is a plus
- Internship or coursework related to supply chain or operations is a bonus
