Mixlab, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is hiring a Part-time IT Associate to support our New York pharmacy and remote employees. We are looking for individuals who are obsessed with details and are driven by an ability to #makeithappen for our employees, customers and their furry (and scaly!) friends no matter what. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our pharmacy operations run smoothly, and to make Mixlab a 100% dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.

This is a part-time hourly role, approximately 25 hours per week, 9 am - 2 pm Monday - Friday, compensated at $24–28 per hour depending on individual qualifications, certifications, experience, and skillset.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide help desk support for end-user requests, assisting with troubleshooting and triage of a variety of hardware, software and account issues.
  • Provision, install and ship end-user equipment such as laptops, desktops and printers
  • Setup and enroll users to required accounts, applications, and security groups
  • Track and log support requests via our ticketing system
  • Assist with tracking asset inventory and audits
  • Work under direction of the supervisor on major IT projects
  • Available to respond to occasional emergencies on nights and weekends
  • Organizing all IT supplies & equipment

About You:

  • You have 1+ years of experience working in a help desk or IT tech support role, supporting Windows and Mac endpoints in a cloud-based, hybrid work environment
  • You’re familiar with troubleshooting and administering the following platforms and technologies: Google Workspace, Slack and Microsoft 365. Additionally, experience with the following technologies (or similar) are bonuses: MDM (Microsoft Intune and Mosyle), Amazon Connect, Unifi networking and PK Compounder
  • You have experience configuring and troubleshooting a variety of laser and thermal printers
  • You have a solid grasp of basic networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and etc.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • You have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - and are a collaborative, team-player
  • You have an all-hands-on-deck attitude with an ability to remain calm and excel under pressure
  • You have the ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
  • You constantly strive to “wow” your colleagues and
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • You are scrappy and resourceful
  • You’re not afraid of wearing multiple hats - you pitch in to help the team when necessary
  • You have flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • MUST LOVE PETS and their people!
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and get under desks.

Pay ranges at Mixlab are based on competitive market data for our industry and company size. In addition to base pay, our total compensation package for full-time employees includes benefits and equity. We determine individual pay based on qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset, and we expect offers made to candidates to fall throughout the range advertised.
