Position Overview:

As an IT Operations Technician at Henry Meds, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and employee experience. Your primary responsibilities will include employee onboarding and breakdowns, employee endpoint management, and resolving tech support requests. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our technological infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our team’s ability to excel in their roles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the IT workstation imaging and equipment disposal program.
  • First point of contact for IT equipment related issues.
  • Provide desktop support to users in our Doral, Florida office.
  • Provide remote helpdesk support to users across the United States and Poland.
  • Scripting and Automation: Maintaining and deploying scripts via MDM and automating processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in resolving IT issues.
  • Maintenance & patching of all Windows and macOS machines using our Hexnode MDM.
  • Assist in the setup and ongoing support of all software and hardware, ensuring they are up to date, secure and functional.
  • Set up new accounts and hardware for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Breaking down accounts and arranging for return of equipment for employees leaving the company.
  • Investigate and resolve employee support tickets related to hardware, software, and malware issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Admin of various employee-facing systems such as Google Workspace, Slack, and ZenDesk Talk, ensuring their smooth operation and accessibility.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues, understanding their needs, and providing timely IT support.

You will likely have:

  • 2-4 years experience as an IT Support or Operations Technician, with a strong focus on end-user support and imaging.
  • Must be available to work during normal business hours eastern or central time.
  • Experience in supporting both macOS and Windows environments.
  • Experience working with an MDM solution like Hexnode, Jamf, Intune, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.

You may have:

  • Experience working with vendors and escalating issues
  • Experience with VOIP Technologies
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • IDP Experience (Rippling, Okta, Entra ID, etc)

Salary for the IT Operations Technician ranges between $65,000-$68,000 annually based on experience.

This salary represents Henry Med’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Henry Meds may ultimately pay more or less than the posted salary. The final salary for this position will be determined by Henry Meds sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Henry Meds business and other operational considerations.
